In the face of the executive measures and the resulting increase in disinfectants, Ambro-Sol obtained an extension of the authorization from the Ministry of Health about the possibility of producing biocide products belonging to the PT2 category. Thus, the Ministry of Health has promulgated an extension to approvals as an exception to Article 55 of the Biocidal Products Regulation 528/2012.
The latter regulates the placing of biocidal products on the market in order to ensure the protection of humans and the environment. In fact, all biocidal products can be placed on the market only after obtaining a specific authorization.
In exceptional situations, such as in the case of danger to public health, the state may exceptionally authorize the placing on the market of disinfectant biocidal products (categories PT1, PT2, PT4).
The authorization issued by the Ministry of Health ensures that the products have undergone a thorough evaluation aimed at certifying their quality and safety.
Ambro-Sol therefore reconfirms product availability at its production facilities.
